Manos Manouselis, the assistant coach of Panagiotis Giannakis, talked about the win of Caja Laboral, the qualification to the top-8 of thw Euroleague and the basketball that the "reds" are playing "which might not by very impressive, but is very effective".

He talked to a Greek Radio show about:

The team's efficiency: "I don't know if the way we are playing is impressive, but has result. The way we are playing is effective. We will see where we can go to. We get the result we want in our home gym, by big leads, if we leave out the game against Cibona".

Prokom: "We have to face each game at a time. We try to figure out the skills of its team. Prokom is a very good team and we mustn't underestimate it. They are a tough team. We have to be very careful to beat them. They have already beat CSKA and Real in Sopot and that says a lot".

The quality and the up-tempo game Olympiakos is playing: "Right now we are playing an up-tempo game, because we have the players to do it. We asked some players from the administration and they got them. We have the players to step up. We wanted a team that would bring results. Most of the players we added fitted the team, except Wafer. Time is on our side and we are getting better and better every day".

What has to change: "There are many things that need to be done in a better way. In the last three games the opponent are having a three-point fest! We have to work on that and improve. Our reaction is the most important thing of all. Yesterday we had an opponent that started with 7/10 and then had 3/7".

Whether Olympiakos is most offensive-oriented and pays less attention to defense: "We face each possession at a time. We try to play the best possible offense and then the best possible defense. They are players that are better in one part of the game. It is important to have the best possible result in both sides of the court".

What changed in the team: "It is important that there are players with great personality and great experience. The coach is a man with experience, who can make a lot of things happen. I think that the work the coach is putting on the team started to pay off. We are making the right choices, although we can do an even better job. Also the patience and the effort of the administration is vey important and makes our team even bigger".

About the loss against Panathinaikos: "Our team cannot celebrate on win. Olympiakos. We might scored 90 points, but the result is the most important thing".
