ESAKE announced Monday morning the coaches of the A1 All-Star game, while will be held this weekend in Irakleio. "It is a great honor" noted the Greek Basketball Coaches Association during the Press Conference, announcing the holding of a Local clinic during the All-Star Game.

The Greek Stars will have at their bench Giorgos Bartzokas (Maroussi) and Elias Zouros (Panellinios), while the game between the U22 and the U20 will be coached by Nikos Linardos (assistant coach in Maroussi) and Dimitris Prifits (assistant coach in Aris). As for the "Rest of the World", they will follow the guidelines of David Blatt and Nenad Markovic.

Zeljco Obradovic and Panagiotis Giannakis, who got selected by the fans, couldn't make it for personal reasons.

The GBCA was represented by the General Secretary, Thodoros Bolatoglou, who said: "The Greek Basketball Coaches Association is delighted to participate in the All-Star Game. The GBCA is honored for more reasons than one, because the All-Star Game will be held in Irakleio, a city -like the rest of Crete- who loves and embraces basketball.

This weekend it is a good opportunity of the players and the coaches to get away from the hard work they put in day-in and day-out. We hope this celebration of basketball will give some good times to the participatnes and the fans and cannot forget that some of the greatest players and greatest coaches in Europe will show up in the court.

Also we would like to announce that during the All-Star Game the GBCA will hold a local clinic in Irakleio on Saturday (13/3/2010) from 9.30 to 12.30. We also want to thank all the sponsors for their support and the municipality of Irakleio and Alikarnasoss for their hospitality".
